Hotel Goryukan Hakuba, Hakuba

I had a great time at the hotel; the service was exceptional, and the onsen was a lovely retreat after a long day on the slopes. The breakfast had plenty of options, and the staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly. However, I wish I had requested a room with a view, as the standard rooms didn’t provide the scenic experience I was hoping for. Overall, it's a good choice but be sure to ask for the mountain view rooms for the best experience.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, thanks to its amazing location just a short walk from the gondola and the Nakiyama area. The rooms were spacious and traditional, and the onsen was a perfect way to relax after a long day on the slopes. The breakfast buffet offered a variety of options that were absolutely delicious. However, if you're looking to hit the bars at night, keep in mind it's a bit of a walk—about 1-2 kilometers—and the on-site restaurant can be on the pricier side.

I had a fantastic time at Hotel Goryukan during my snow holiday! The location was ideal, just a short walk to the Happo shuttle, and the staff were incredibly helpful, especially with transportation.
