I had a great time at the hotel; the service was exceptional, and the onsen was a lovely retreat after a long day on the slopes. The breakfast had plenty of options, and the staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly. However, I wish I had requested a room with a view, as the standard rooms didn’t provide the scenic experience I was hoping for. Overall, it's a good choice but be sure to ask for the mountain view rooms for the best experience.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, thanks to its amazing location just a short walk from the gondola and the Nakiyama area. The rooms were spacious and traditional, and the onsen was a perfect way to relax after a long day on the slopes. The breakfast buffet offered a variety of options that were absolutely delicious. However, if you're looking to hit the bars at night, keep in mind it's a bit of a walk—about 1-2 kilometers—and the on-site restaurant can be on the pricier side.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely delightful! The accommodations were spacious and offered stunning views of the mountains, which added a special touch to our ski holiday. I had a fantastic time at Hotel Goryukan during my snow holiday! The location was ideal, just a short walk to the Happo shuttle, and the staff were incredibly helpful, especially with transportation. The room we stayed in was unexpectedly large and allowed us all to have our own space, but I wish we had asked for a room with a mountain view for that extra touch. Overall, it was a great experience that made our first skiing trip in Japan memorable.
